| Course Description | This is a course covering the elementary algebraic and calculus methods necessary for mathematical modelling. Emphasis will be placed on developing facility, technique and use in applications. Modelling of processes and phenomena which occur in economics, engineering and the physical, environmental and life sciences will be used as a vehicle throughout. This course also provides a pathway to higher level mathematics courses. |
