| Course Description |
This course of study aims to provide musicians with basic information concerning teaching methods and performance techniques for the musical instruments of the percussion family. A special emphasis also includes information for composition and arranging students. This is a “Hands On” course, students will garner an in depth introduction to snare drum, keyboard percussion and timpani. |

Mid term performance assessment 40% Mid-term online exam, 20% Final written Examination 30% Percussion concert performance written critique 10% A passing grade is required in both the examination and assignment components |
