Course Description

Integrated Studies A and B (12 units) consisting of participation in a range of ensembles that augment the development of the student's musical, social, organisational and critical skills, and provide experience in a range of potential fields of professional musical activity. Ensemble activities may include a folio of ensemble work from outside the School of Music, related to their specific area of interest, as agreed with the course coordinator.

Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Demonstrate a greater depth of understanding of techniques, practice habits, musical and stylistic knowledge in the chosen area of study.
  • Demonstrate effective use of aural awareness, musical flexibility and team skills.
