Course Description This course is designed as a research led course to be given by individual members of the academic staff and academic visitors to the Centre for applied Philosophy and Public Ethics based on their particular expertise. Topics might include: ethics of resource management; religious citizenship and toleration; privacy; ethics of drug policy; terrorism and torture; indigenous rights and policy development; economics, ethics and philosophy.
Indicative Assessment  one 6000 word essay or two 3000 word essays
Course Classification(s) AdvancedAdvanced courses are designed for students having reached 'first degree' level of assumed knowledge, which provide a deep understanding of contemporary issues; or 'second degree' and higher levels of knowledge; or for transition to research training programs.
