| Course Description |
This course consists of a series of lectures which cover a variety of advanced topics in neuroscience. When last offered the topics included neurobiology of consciousness (including altered states of consciousness, and sleep), new insights into the neurobiology of language, and the neural basis of counting. |
| Indicative Assessment |
To be arranged in consultation with students, but consisting of an invigilated component or components accounting for at least 40% of the overall assessment package which must be passed in order for an overall pass in the course to be awarded. In 2007, assessment was two exams (each worth 25%), a 2000 word essay (20%) and a tutorial presentation (20%) and two written summaries (5% each). |
