Course Description	Students learn about and gain experience in the theoretical basis and philosophy of science communication, the development of science communication programs in a variety of formats.
Learning Outcomes	On satisfying the requirements of this course, students will have the knowledge and skills to: understand the process of developing and delivering science communication programs; apply this knowledge in the planning and delivery of science communication programs; have skills in the technical aspects of communicating via a variety of different techniques; and produce reports in a variety of different formats.
Indicative Assessment	The subject will be assessed by assignments in which students will plan, develop, and deliver science communication programs in different media.
Workload	Contact 50 hours, non contact 175 hours
