Courses to the value of at least 96 units taught in or approved by the College of Asia & the Pacific, including:
- Language courses forming an Asia-Pacific language major, as defined in the College entry for the Bachelor of Asian Studies to the value of between 48 and 60 units; and
- Non-language courses forming an approved cognitive major as defined in the College entry for the Bachelor of Asian Studies to the value of between 36 and 48 units.
Thus, the course combination for a language major and the cognitive major could be: 8/8; 9/7; or 10/6.
LAW
At least 144 units of Law courses, offered by the ANU College of Law including 90 units of compulsory courses, as listed in the section relating to the Bachelor of Laws, and 54 units of elective courses.
Admission to degree of Bachelor of Asian Studies requires:
Total of 144 units including not less than 96 units of Asia-Pacific Studies courses as defined in the degree structure.
Admission to degree of Bachelor of Laws requires:
A total of 192 units including at least 144 units from the ANU College of Law including compulsory and elective courses as defined above. No more than 24 units at first-year level of non-law courses can be counted if admission to the LLB occurs before the combined program requirements have been met.
