The program consists of 36 units chosen from the lists of courses currently available within the Graduate Program in Law, with at least 24 units chosen from the Environmental Law courses including Fundamentals of Environmental Law for non-lawyers. Some courses have prerequisites.

Students are able to apply to transfer to the degree of Master of Environmental Law, with status for all relevant work completed.
