Degree Structure

The program consists of 48 units of coursework. Students must complete the two compulsory courses - ANTH8034 and ANTH8035 (both worth 12 units each). The remaining four courses are selected from the elective offerings to complete 48 units.

Students can elect to take one elective course outside the Anthropology postgraduate coursework program (e.g. in Demography or other postgraduate course) where it can be shown to be of direct relevance to the student’s interests and an appropriate part of the Anthropology degree. This course must have the approval of the Program Convenor.
