Completion of 48 Units of the Master of Anthropology with a Distinction average (or equivalent) i.e. the courses for the Master of Anthropology program plus a 24 unit research component.
Please note that this research program is a 1 semester addition to the year long coursework MAnth program.
The Master of Anthropology (Research) enables students to undertake research training in the form of a short supervised research thesis (24 units)
Prerequisites
Admission into the Masters of Anthropology (Res) requires a Master of Anthropology (from the ANU or equivalent) with a minimum average of 70%. Admission will be conditional on the availability of a suitable supervisor.
