Program Requirements

The Master of Liberal Arts is a 48 unit program available in one of the following specialisations: Cultural and Environmental Heritage, Museums and Collections, Visual Culture Research and Writing, World Histories and Lives.  

The specialisation in Visual Culture Research requires the following:

VISC8003: Masterclasses in Ethnographic Film

VISC8005: Digital Media Methods

VISC8006: Visual culture research project

VISC8011: Extended project

VISC8012: Framing the World

VISC8015: Research with a Video Camera

ANTH8041:Photography in Social Context 

 

The remaining courses may be taken from Visual Culture Research offerings, from any area of the Liberal Arts specialisation, or by permission of the program convenor.
