Program Requirements

The program requires the completion of 48 units of approved courses, including a minimum of 36 units of 8000-series or "speciality" computing courses. Students wishing to specialise must complete a minimum of 24 units of courses from one of the specialisation areas listed under Schedule 1 including the respective project course. Completion of a project course is necessary to gain 'professional' accreditation with the Australia Computer Society. Enrolment in a project course requires the permission of the program convenor and is subject to having demonstrated good competency in a semester of coursework.
