The Master of Engineering with Honours
Honours grades in the ME(Hons)degree are awarded by the Faculty on the basis of a recommendation from the Head of Engineering and may be awarded with first class honours; second class honours, division A; or second class honours, division B.
The awarding of honours in the ME(Hons) program is based on meritorious performance over the entire two year program. The assessment of meritorious performance includes the calculation of Average Percentage Mark (APM) calculated from each of the courses undertaken over the two years of the program, together with the consideration of overall progress of the student and the Research Project result.
