Program Requirements

The program is of eight months' duration (summer session, semester one and winter session) comprising 48 units of coursework (three x 12-unit courses plus two x 6-unit courses).

There are five compulsory core courses - totalling 48 units. 

Summer Session
 DIPL8001 - Transnational Diplomacy
Semester One

DIPL8002 - Contemporary Challenges in Diplomacy:  Politics, Economics, Law and Strategy
DIPL8003 - Case Studies in Diplomacy
DIPL8004 - Negotiation and Conflict Resolution

 Winter Session
DIPL8006 - Diplomacy, Politics and the United Nations
 

This is a 48-unit coursework program (without thesis) to be completed:-

  1. over the session session, semester one and winter session at full-time study or
  2. at least four semesters' part-time.
Note:  The above courses are available only those those students enrolled in the Master of Diplomatic Studies.
