In the second year students will enrol in a 24 unit of BIOL8701 in the Research School of Biology for two semesters.

The second year principally involves a research project conducted under supervision, and includes attendance at various workshops and seminars, presentation of a research proposal, a progress report and two seminars, with the major item of assessment being a thesis. The MMGA (Research) runs from early February.

Program requirements

Total of 96 units required for the program.  48 units coursework as outline for Master of Molecular Genetic Analysis plus 48 units successful completion of BIOL8701.
