| Course Description |
Corporate Valuation is a "capstone" finance course that draws on core corporate finance principles, theories and methods previously studied. Students will work in teams to value an existing company, and prepare a report to present their analysis and recommendations. The techniques covered include discounted cash flow, multiple-based and asset-based valuations. |
| Learning Outcomes |
On completion of this course, students should be able to understand and apply company valuation techniques, and be more effective at working in teams. |
| Indicative Assessment |
Assessment in the course is 100% assignment-based, with provision for a teamwork adjustment. |
| Workload |
At least three contact hours per week plus private study time. |
