Bachelor of Information Technology
Most graduates find employment in the Information Technology industry, and employers are particularly interested in people with personal communications skills as well as technical qualifications. Careers range from the 'user' side of the information industry (commercial or administrative enterprise) to the 'supply' side (computer system suppliers and software system constructors). With a higher degree, careers are available in research into computer systems and in sophisticated applications of computer systems.
All students who complete the BInfTech degree are eligible for professional membership of the Australian Computer Society.
