Master of Molecular Genetic Analysis (Research) is a two years program. The program consists of 48 units coursework component as identical to that of Master of Molecular Genetic Analysis plus an additional one year research project .
The coursework component is delivered by a combination of lectures and practical courses and intensive workshops taught by staff at the cutting edge of new developments in techniques of genetic data analysis. The Masters program will provide an essential grounding for students to understand and apply molecular genetic analysis tools to fundamental and applied research questions in fields ranging from behavioral and molecular ecology, population genetics, conservation and evolutionary biology.
The research component is an additional year of research project and allow students to apply for postgraduate research programs in relevant areas.
