| Course Description |
Recording Techniques 2 furthers students understanding of the recording environment. It allows the student to become more familiar with the recording equipment, procedures and techniques, and to further their awareness of music recording and editing processes. |

Two 750-word written assignments (15% each) [LO 1-3] written work will be assessed on accuracy and thoroughness Weekly practical 'set tasks' (20%) [LO 2] Two practical assignments (25% each) [LO 4-5] Practical work will be assessed on production values including:

| Workload |
Students undertake lectures/workshops and recording/mixdown sessions as appropriate. These may be delivered weekly or in intensive blocks (average of three hours per week). |
