Program Requirements

The combined program requires the completion of 192 units.

The Business Administration component of this program requires the completion of 96 units of courses on List 1 of the ANU College of Business and Economics, of which:

A maximum of 60 units can come from completion of 1000 level courses

A minimum of 36 units must come from completion of 2000 and 3000 level courses

The 96 units must include:

66 units from completion of the following compulsory courses:

BUSN1001 Business Reporting and Analysis

ECON1101 Microeconomics 1

ECON1102 Macroeconomics 1 OR ECON1100 Economics 1 (H)

MGMT1003 Management, People and Organisations 

BUSI2025 International Business 

MGMT2030 Human Resource Management and Strategy

MGMT2100 Communication for Business

MGMT3015 Corporate Strategy 

MGMT3021 Leadership

MGMT3027 Entrepreneurship and Innovation

MKTG2004 Marketing

6 units from completion of core courses from the following list:

MGMT2003 Business Decision Making

STAT1008 Quantitative Research Methods

24 units from the completion of elective courses on List 1 of the ANU College of Business and Economics.

 

The Bachelor of Information Technology component of the combined degree program offered by the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science requires the completion of 96 units, of which:

      A maximum of 36 units can come from completion of 1000 level courses

      A minimum of 60 units must come from completion of 2000 and 3000 level courses.

The 96 units must include:

36 units from completion of compulsory courses from the following list:

COMP1100 Introduction to Programming and Algorithms

COMP1110 Introduction to Software Systems

COMP1710 Web Development and Design

COMP2400 Relational Databases

COMP2600 Formal Methods in Software Engineering

COMP3120 Managing Software Development

6 units from completion of core courses from the following:

MATH1005 Discrete Mathematical Models or MATH1014 Mathematics and Applications 2 or MATH1116 Mathematics and Applications 2 Honours;

30 units from completion of 3000 level computing courses offered or approved by the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science;

24 units from completion of additional computing courses offered by the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science.
