Program Requirements

The combined program requires completion of 240 units.

The Bachelor of Engineering component of the combined degree program offered by the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science requires the completion of 144 units, of which:

A maximum of 48 units can come from completion of 1000 level courses
A minimum of 96 units can come from completion of 2000, 3000 and 4000 level courses.

The 144 units must include:

78 units from completion of compulsory courses:

24 units from completion of core courses from the following list::
COMP1730 Programming for Scientists or COMP1100 Introduction to Programming and Algorithms
MATH1013 Mathematics & Applications 1 or MATH1115 Mathematics & Applications I Honours
MATH1014 Mathematics & Applications 2 or MATH1116 Mathematics & Applications II Honours
PHYS1101 Advanced Physics I

36 units from completion of one of the following Engineering Majors:
 (Note – Majors are 48 units with up to 12 units accounted for in compulsory requirements)

6 units from completion of an ENGN elective course offered by the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science;

12 units from completion of BUSN1001 and BUSN1101 in the Bachelor of Commerce to replace ENGN3211 and ENGN4611 in the Bachelor of Engineering.

  A maximum of 60 units can come from completion of 1000 level courses
  A minimum of 36 units must come from completion of 2000 and 3000 level          courses

The 96 units must include:
