Program Requirements

For the 4-year Honours Degree you will need to complete a total of 192 units. Your program must include: 

1. 144 units comprising at least 96 units from science courses including: 

The program may not contain more than 60 units of first year courses. 

 

2. Completion of a science honours year program (48 units).

Students wishing to continue in the program must maintain an average mark of 75 per cent each semester during the first 144 units of the degree program. Students who do not maintain this average will be transferred to the Bachelor of Global and Ocean Studies pass degree program. The maximum period for completion of the degree program is 10 years from the date of first enrolment in the program. The 10 years includes periods of leave.
