In order to complete the program, a candidate must accumulate 144 units and successfully complete one of the major patterns listed below:
Major in Performance (all classical instruments except Voice):
a) 36 units of Specialist Performance courses, comprised of sequenced courses in one instrument
b) 36 units of Creative Practice (Integrated Studies) courses:
i. 18 units of Aural 1 - 6
ii. 12 units of Theory 1 - 4
iii. 6 units of Improvisation and Composition 1 - 2
c) 24 units of Music and Its Cultural Context courses
d) Any other music or non-music courses to the value of 48 units
Major in Performance (Voice):
